Transition

I am Charlie, I use to go by another name.

I made it official in practice coming out in 2022, but more active during 2023, or took bigger steps in 2024 with gender affirming care actions. I couldn't be more happy. 

As I could give more details about my experiences, and maybe eventually I will. But for now, all I can say, I did recently go through top surgery and still going through the recovery. Its a lot for now. Thats a lot of change and a good change. How much I wish this was done a long time ago. Finding myself that I am a guy.

I woke up early to join the Rodinha group. I was soar and aching from day before from going to a long kung fu class and trying out a weapon/spear class in the park. So I was soar. But also still attempting hanging on and questioning my participating in capoeira. As much as I had a lot of fun with training with today, and with this particular group of people. They always been nice and welcoming to me. We did some music, and I get some tips and help. Then I get to play and encouraged to play. This being a different experience from recent months & years of a group I was just part of. But then as we depart at end of session, the closing words are sometimes something do with something that reminds me of them that make me angry and I have to carry it home. -such as: Where is ------ person name---, or what is going on with the group from ---- group -----. And this group knows I am no longer with them and probably not welcome or anything just knows more than I do. Or they ask about the cap...

WHere to Start

Im Charlie and I'm doing A Blog about My Neurodivergent Experience as part of my journey. It already been several years of knowing, along with many diagnoses since the age of 4 years old, and last 10 years of Autistic diagnoses. But still have a lot to learn and discovering about my self and how to get through life, and figure why things are so frustrating and what to do about it. Or can I do anything about it. I don't know if this will help me, or help anyone else. Or maybe it won't. But hope it does.  To tell you about me, Charlie: I like art, clay, sculpty, draw, paint, stop motion, videos.  Capoeira and Kung fu (Bagua and Pi Gua Quan), was Jiu Jitsu & kick boxing, Karate. I like animals, for work, I dog sit.  For fun, I create and edit videos. Some work on social media, IG, Facebook, Tiktok. I do get wordy and have hard time getting to the point.
